Directions and Parking:

 

The McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering is located in the Chemical & Petroleum Engineering Building (CPE) at 200 E. Dean Keeton Street, Austin, TX 78712. The closest parking is in the Speedway Garage, half a block north of CPE (enter on Speedway). Pull a ticket from the garage entrance box and bring it in so we can validate your parking.

 

From the Speedway Garage, walk down Speedway towards Dean Keeton Street (south) and the CPE building will be on the left side of the street. It’s an older brown building that’s four stories tall. You’ll see a large orange sculpture, known as the Clock Knot, on the CPE front lawn grassy area; our main entrance is on the far east side of the building marked “Chemical Engineering” above the glass doors. Once inside the glass doors our main administrative office is to your left, numbered 2.802. You’ll see our reception area with a couch and reception desk, etc. Someone will be there to greet you.
