Professor Emeritus
Research Areas
Research Interests
Microporous membranes and membrane separations
About
Research originally funded through a combination of agency and industry, Lloyd studied the thermally-induced phase separation (TIPS) process that was being used to form microporous polymeric membranes for a variety of industrially important applications. Their research on the formation and application of membranes included fundamental scientific studies and practical technical studies.
