The NAMS Travel Awards will be presented annually to outstanding individuals who are near the start of their careers in membrane science and technology. Each Award will provide up to $1250 reimbursement for reasonable expenses associated with attending a NAMS Annual Meeting or other membrane-related meetings (including international conferences.) Eligible applicants include senior graduate students, post-docs, and new faculty members and researchers in industry and government. Priority will be given to applicants who have not received any prior financial assistance from NAMS. Applicants must be current members of the North American Membrane Society, and must agree to write a one-page report on the Meeting (to be published in a following issue of the NAMS Quarterly.) Reimbursement will be distributed after the meeting upon submission of appropriate receipts and the one-page write-up on the Conference.
