ISHA 2013 was held in Austin, TX, USA
Thank you to everyone for making ISHA 2013 a huge success. The full program, including abstracts, is posted on the program link. We are now looking forward to ISHA 2014 which will be held next summer in Bordeaux, France. Please contact Professor Cyril Aymonier (aymonier@icmcb-bordeaux.cnrs.fr) for more information.ISHA 2013 will take place in Austin, TX, USA at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center located on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin. The conference will bring together experts in all areas of Hydrothermal and Solvothermal research.
The previous ISHR meetings were held in Japan (1982), USA (1985), Russia (1989), France (1993), USA (1997), Japan (2000) and China (2003), with the concept of bringing together scientsists involved in various aspects of high-pressure/temperature research in different solvent media including aqueous solutions. The previosu ICSTR meetings were held in Japan (1994 and 1996), France (1999), Japan (2000), USA (2002)
and India (2004), with a focus on the reactions in a variety of solvent media including aqueous solutions. The joint meeting of ISHR-7 and ICSTR-6 was first held in Kochi, Japan (2000). In 2006, the International Solvothermal and Hydrothermal Association (ISHA) was established and the Joint meeting of the ISHR-8 and ICSTR-7 was held in Sendai, Japan, which bring in a large number of scientists from all over the
world to share the common interests in the fields.
In 2008, the first ISHA International Conference was held at the University of Nottingham, UK. The second conference was held in Beijing in 2010. It is our great pleasure to invite you to Austin, TX, USA for ISHA 2013. The aim of the Conference is to offer opportunities for exchanging information and ideas among scientists from all over the world working on Hydrothermal and Solvothermal research and to promote the
application of Hydrothermal and Solvothermal Technology for processing advanced materials and issues related to the environment.
For the first time, ISHA will present awards to the top two graduate student posters presented at the conference. To be eligible, students must submit an abstract to present at the meeting along with an indication that they would like to be considered for this award. They will then present to a panel of judges who will select the ISHA Gold and ISHA Silver Awardees. These students will be honored at the special ISHA Awards Session.
