The New Graduate Student Picnic is Friday, September 16th starting at 3:00 p.m. in Eastwoods Park. Texas style Barbecue will be served at 5:00 p.m. The event welcomes all graduate students and their families, faculty and staff.
Eastwoods park is within walking distance of the CPE building. Parking is very limited. To walk to the park, leave the first floor loading dock area, cross San Jacinto Blvd, proceed on to Elmwood Place (between JP Coffee and The Posse), one block. We will be set up at the stone building in Eastwoods Park.
All food and drinks will be provided by the department. The City of Austin does not allow alcohol beverages in city parks.
